need advice on ecosystem

Ok - I have a 90g reef tank set-up and ready. I am planning on adding sand, water and cured live rock on Monday when my ecosystem arrives. I just spoke to the company that sells the ecosystem and they said I cannot hook the system up until the LR is cured? They said die off from the rock will polute the ecosystem's water supply and cause problems.
I thought cured LR would have very minimal die off?
Any advice from the experts would be well appreciated. Thank you

Well, any rock that is shipped whether precured or not will have die off and cycle. Maybe a lot, maybe not, but it will cycle to some degree.
So you are running an ecosystem set up with "miracle" mud?

yes- this is set-up with miracle mud.
Right now I have been cycling the 90g with raw shrimp for 5 days. I have not added the LR yet. It said to wait a week before adding the rock.
does anyone have any experience with an ecosystem?
