I have two power heads that are suppose to oscillate and distribute the flow throughout the tank. They are busted! Need some advice on brands to buy

If these are the powersweep then yes they do break after time. I would look into Maxi Jet and the Korilida (sp?)

My Koralia 2 just came in today. Only had it a few hours but I am quite impressed with its power for its small size

SWF doesn't sell koralia powerheads, I can't list the site due to forum rules, but if you google Koralia you should find a site that sells them. I got mine from the docs

Have you taken them apart to clean the gears ? I`ve had two of them for a few years now and they stop moving when they get dirty and stuff gets in the gears .

I just googled the Koralia pumps. Seems everybody is out of them. Must be a good unit. I do like the magnetic fastening.

I use hydor's flow nozzles. It hooks straight up to my pump outlet into the tank (2 outlets, actually). Is this what you are all talking about? Or is there an actual powerhead they make too?
The flow nozzles are great. They use what you already have... no power consumption. Hooks up to most round outlets (comes with different size adaptors). Provides 360 degree rotation with about a 30 degree bend in the water flow. If you picture an icecream cone shape in 3D, thats the rotation it gives the water flow. Pretty nice for the cost and you just clean it once a month or so.
Edit:
Was going to tag a picture on to this so you could see it, but it came out kind of dark. I used paint to outline it so you could see it better... that's when I sat back and viewed my work... and I thought better of the post. Anyone who has one of these nozzles will get the joke.

Love my Wave2k.
Used to complain about it being noisy, then I bumped it and realized it was vibrating against the tank. Put a sock in between it and the tank and all's good. I really am impressed and happy with it.
