Hi I just found a dead fish in my 90 gal tank, I know I should remove him but he is buried under a ton of rock . The way the rock is laid I am afraid would do more harm than good to get him out. Should I just let mother nature take her course? I have a large well rounded cuc. Checked water parameters all is fine at this point, will test daily till gone Good or Bad move?
Thanks John

Leave the fish and monitor our water parameters specifically ammonia and nitrite daily until the fish is consumed by your cleanup crew. If you start to see ammonia or nitrite start doing water changes to keep the levels down. Normally your cleanup crew should be able to handle small to medium sized fish without any kind of spike but if your tank is new it may not be mature enough to handle a large ammonia producer on its own.

do you have crabs or snails in the tank?
if you do and its not too big they should take care of it.
my hermits and nass snails would almost completely dispose of anything dead in my tank before id hardly know it was missing.
