Hi there in less than 24hrs I'm driving from Ames Iowas to Indiana to buy some anemonies, coral and Gods know what else, this is what I have so far in my 55g tank "the cycle is done"
45lb of LR "I may get more 10lb maybe"
15 Scarlet Reef Hermits
15 Blue Leg Hermits
15 Turbo Snails
1 Sally Lightfoot Crab
3 Peppermint Shrimp
2 Emerald Crabs
1 Coral Banded Shrimp
so my question is what kind of coral and anemonies is good to have? for fish later on I'm planing to have 2 percula, one yellow tang and maybe something else but my main enfacis in on a reef coral aquarium, please any help will be great, I just can't wait to put things on my aquarium beside a cleaning crew. by the way my reading "ammo, nit, ect" are perfect like I said my cycle ended like three weeks ago.

I would NOT put any coral,or anemones in a tank that young. The corals will surly die,if not right away, within a month or so.And the same with the anemones. What do you have for lighting?? I would say to start with your fish,This will help to mature your tank and get it ready for corals. Please,For the corals sake and your wallet, dont add them yet!!! STEVE

I agree with everyone, and I would watch out because sometimes hermits and coral bandeds can pick at your corals, or stress them. I would get some fish first too, because their will be a slight increase in ammonia, so if you get the corals first, they maybe get very stressed with an ammonia rise when you get fish later.

I wouldn't get any more live rock.It will cause an ammonia spike. And tangs are delicate.I would suggest a clowqn, din't get the anemone yet.If you have to get some coral, get a mushroom.Inverts, feather duster, hermits, snails.shrimp, not the coral baned becuase he will kill every other shrimp
wait at least a wek before you put inverts!Hope this helps!
