you should run 2 pumps...1 for the return for the sump and another smaller one for the chiller.
Probably a mag 12 for the return and a mag 5 for the chiller.

You'll need a Hang on the back Overflow if your tank isn't drilled with a Black overflow inside it.
You can't use 2 pumps because there is NO way you can't match the same speed..The pump that goes up will be slower than the one going down.
And if 1 ever fails you'll either empty your tank on the floor or empty the sump onto your floor by overflowing the tank.
The overflow only lets down what was pumped up...if that pump stops. So does the over flow.
Your overflow must be rated higher than your pump..
So if you get a 1000gph over flow.
You need a lesser pump than 1000gph.
And that is determined by how much you want which is up to you.

mag pumps are very nice and last I would get the largest overflow you can and do a mag 18 pump and split the return lines so you have 2 and it will reduce the flow and should not be to powerful for you over flow . I would also put a ball valve in which you can also regulate the flow with.

No ball valves...you can have one just in case...but it's not good for the pumps to turn them down, especially magdrives.
As far as pumps If you tell us everything you have in your tank, (especially corals) we can tell you better what to go with.

Yes but don't try your tank is too small..I recommend 300 gal or larger...Which is why I bought a 300gal
Overflow: CPR CS202 Overflow Box - $125.00
Mag 18 goes for like $120 Mag 5 is like $50
Sump and fuge $300.00
And you'll need hoses. figure another $50-100.00

Is the heater electronic readout or a Dial?
If it's electronic (Number readout)
Put the chiller at 82
Heater at 81
The Lights and pumps during the day shoud have the temp of the tank at 82, if it goes higher the chiller will kick in and drop it.
At night the tank drops past 81 the thermometer will kick in and bring it back up , You don't want them to over lap or they will be fighting each other.
If the heater is a dial let me know I will write you the instructions.
