Need an ID Please ??

My first guess would be a Scolymia. Just because I have seen one or two that divided into almost a branching coral like that with more then one polyp. It's pretty rare though (at least from the amount that I have seen).

The pink/red flesh looks rather transparent to me. Plus the septa along the corallites are rather well defined. Scolymias are sometimes extremely thin as well - the one's I had all were.

Well I can tell you that it is not dead. It started out as a small spot and has been getting bigger. I first thought it was just some cyano or red algae.

It's hard for me to see, but it looks like one of the 'chalice' corals. Google Mycedium sp and Echinophyllia sp and see if we're close.
