carribean cup coral, neither beneficial or not beneficial. just a cool hitcher that can multiply in the tanks, and they enojoy a little meaty treat once in a while.
edit: well, it is if the tentacles have white specs in them.
if it's completely whited out, it could be a bleached aptasia, although it would be weird if it was

Its tentacles do have white specks in them just can't see them in the pic.So no harm to fish and other corals then?

Hey cranberry can you post some pics of the bleached aptisias?I just wanna compare with what I've got.Thanks

It appears to be a bleached aiptasia to me as well, in the pics of cup coral that I have seen the tenticles appear to be clear almost glass like with white specs. Bleached aiptasia are kind of milky looking.
