OK, so I have rehomed my hippo tang and I recently lost my LMB. Now, I have a lemon peel angel, royal dottyback, 2 clowns, and a mandarin. What should I add??? I have a 55 reef.
You could possibly add one of the smaller reef safe wrasses. Something like a 6 line or a possum wrasse. I would say a fairy wrasse would look great but I think a 55 gal. may be a little small for one. My solar fairy wrasse seems like he would be unhappy in a 55. The 6 line would add allot of great movement.

A wrasse was gonna be my second suggestion!

Hmmm....I may have to look into the wrasses. I don't think a six line and my royal dottyback will get along.

Maybe a blue spot Jawfish.
Do you have any experience with them? I have heard they don't live long in captivity. I really don't want to spend 80 bucks on a fish that has a record of not lasting more than a year.
My dad had one for about a year and a half until it died. I think that problem was it was in a 300 gal tank with some aggressive fish and didn't get enough food. I have heard that too.

She originally stated that her blenny died..... I don't think she wants another one.
I don't want another LMB. I don't have enough algae in my system to support their dietary needs. I'm considering a tailspot or maybe a barnacle blenny.
I love my tailspot blenny.
I've heard that barnacle blennies do better in small groups, a trio would be cool.
Blue Spot Jawfish should be left in the wild, they slowly die in captivity.
I'd suggest a fairy or flasher wrasse, but you have an open top.
I love my Yellow Corris Wrasse and he's not as much of a jumper as some other wrasses are.
Greenbanded goby (or pair)
Yellow Assessor (these guys are really cool when they swim upside down)
School of Orange Lined Cardinalfish
