Need help building a canopy- 44 gallon corner

I bought my mom new lights for her tank, now I need to build a canopy to put them in. Does anybody have plans or has built one themselves? My dad is going to measure things for me and fax them. Any help would be appreciated.

You crack me up...no really I just bought my mom a simple 55watt compact. She really doesnt need the light since she isnt really into reef stuff. When I look at her tank though I have to squint because it is so dim. The tank comes with a 15 watt bulb and because of the shape is near impossible to upgrade on. I just wanted to give her something better. I think a MH would just be too much for her. She doesnt take care of her tank, the lights used to be on for days until I put a timer on it. She chasnged it though and it is still on for a long time. The list goes on. I would be better off paying for a service to come and take care of it for her.
Hmmm...now what kind of LR does your mom want?

I should finish up getting the measurements this weekend. I'm in the process of drawing up plans for a new canopy over my tank so I'll shoot you the figures on Monday.
