Need help feeding golden headed sleeper goby

When I set up my tank, I started getting this brown filmy algae all over the bottem on my live sand. To remedy the situation I got a golden headed sleeper goby. It cleaned up the bottom in short order. Now, 4 months later, I am noticing that he is getting quite thin. I feed several different frozen foods including brine as well as algae type flakes ever once in a while. He doesn't seem to eat any of these things, but is quite content to sift through the sand. Anyone have any ideas on what to feed him, or is it a lost cause?

Brine shrimp are not very nutritious and sleepers seldom eat flake. You can try something like prime reef made by ocean nutrition. It has a mix of chopped clams, squid, and other meaty foods in it. Try thawing a cube then break it up into little bits and leave the bits scattered on the bottom near him. He should find them while he is sifting as long as the competion isnt too great.
