I have had my take pretty stable now for 3 years. We have had a bad red slime problem, so I called the local salt water specialist and they had come out and cleaned my tank, everything was well, but my canister filter just had padding in it. Never knew that. So they cleaned it out and added.... Bio Globes, Carbon, Purigen and Phosguard. They said those were the things my tank needed to keep it healthy. Great, had it filled up with sw brought it home hooked it up. Next day my yellow tang dead. hes been through 3 moves and 3 years of great health. Now my hippo is breathing rapidly. I think he is about to die too. I am very upset and need advice on what is going on. The local fish store recommenced disconnecting my canister which I did. Water tests show everything is really good. Any advice will be well received.
