1) I have over the last few months Halameda growing crazy in my reef tank. Can i put it in my refugeum which has a strip light on 24/7? What fish will eat it and what fish?
2) Am thing of getting a larger tank this late spring/summer. My existing reef tank is 5 plus years old, everything looks and runs fine (fingers crossed)! If i get a new tank and add a 4-6" DSB and put the existing rock i have now back in it will the tank recycyle or will it not? that is the question.
thanks!

yes you can put the halameda in your refugium. I don't believe any fish eat it as it has a tough calcerous skeleton. It's a good macro algea for filtering though. If you trim it back don't trim it too much as it's kind of finicky.
