whats going on in my tank ?
1) ph8.4
2) nitrates 10
3) ammonia O
4) temp 80
5) salt 1.023
brown / green alage
tank running 3 months
90 gal - 20 gal sump - mag 9- (2) 802 heads
80 rock 100 sand ( live)
wet/dry
1- power compact 110 ( perfecto)
2- 1 in bulk heads
2- 1/2 returns
no ro unit
cleaners -snails hermits- sally- cleaner shrimp
yellow tank(small) 3 damsels
lots of alage on glass , need to clean every other day.

Very common to have algae blooms at the stage you are at...causes could be any of a number of things.....excessive feeding...phosphates....source of top-off water....may be time to consider a good clean-up crew. Some snails and/or crabs could helpp control the algae problems...then try to determine the source of the algae and eliminate it.
