Personally, I'd buy either a 20H or a 20L. Ya know, just the standard all-glass type of tank. That way you can configure your own lighting, filtration, etc. Plus, they seem to be a much higher quality than either the aquapod or nano cube. And, its glass, so its going to be more resistant to scratches. The Aquapods and Nanocubes are extremely prone to getting all scratched up. JMO

AMEN.
The "out of the box systems" are slightly over rated, IMO.

The Nano-Cube is also all glass, contrary to a previous post, and mine has been up for over a year now and it's great. It has lots of light, great filtration, and a clean look. My corals have all been thriving. You'll like the simplicity of set-up and maintenance.

I realistically think theyre all about the same..Nano's are supposed to have problems with the glass...But I dont knwo of anyone who's had issues...I think the aquapods are a little cheaper but i think nano cubes sell surface skimmers. Its basically jst what you're into.

I got a 12G Nano cube by CM and after the first 2 weeks it cracked at one corner. It was just sitting there. I had to start my cycle over agian. Luckily my LFS replaced it with the same tank.
So far so good. It is glass though.
Other than that the Nano cube has been good.
