need help please

ok i need to do an emergency water change today. I added more to my clean up crew about a week ago and now EVERYTHING is high. I read that once you mix your water up that you should wait 48 hrs before adding, is this true? I cant wait that long

I've done it before with only waiting about four hours. I mixed up the water, put in a heater and a Power head while on lunch break. Then when i got home, did the water change. I did a 15 gal change on a 46 gal tank. Everthing turned out just fine. Im sure others will say different, but i've never had a seconds trouble doing it this way. HTH

I've also mixed water and just put it right in when I had an emergency.

Well I mixed 15 gallons about 2.5 hours ago and my temp is right. My SG is 1.027 in my display and I want to bring it down to about 1.026. the new batch I just mixed is almost 1.026 should it be ok to add as is, or will the difference in SG affect my friends?
