I would think that Nano would be best for that small of a tank. What other flow do you have in the tank, and what do you plan to keep?

I am in the prosses of changing from a FOWLF and want to keep some shrooms and softies maybe. My tank has been up for about 4 1/2 years and is well astablished. I just ordered a Coralife Aqualight Quad Tube Compact Fluorescent Strip Lights...
Amazing 96 watts of compact fluorescent lighting from a single 20" light fixture. The innovative Quad Tube bulb is like having four normal output fluorescent light bulbs in one. Space saving design provides bright light conditions ideal for mini-reef aquariums, refugiums, planted aquariums, or as supplementary lighting where space is at a premium. Feature a stylish yet durable anodized aluminum housing with on/off switch and an energy efficient internal electronic ballast for reliable and lasting performance. Highly polished reflector maximizes light output and distributes it evenly across your aquarium. Protective acrylic lens cover prevents water splashes from coming into direct contact with lamps.
Saltwater compact fluorescent strip light includes 50/50 Quad Tube that combines 10,000°K and True Actinic 03 blue phosphors to provide ideal lighting conditions for saltwater aquariums.
I was told it would be fine for shrooms and softies.
I am also looking for a filter but not sure what would be good for the set up any ideas? And I saw the korila in others Nano and just thought it would be perfect for the 12G. Any help with this change over would be great.

What kind of tank is this? Not an all-in-one like and aqua pod I assume? You can use a HOB filter like an aquaclear for filtration. The light sounds like it will work for shrooms and polyps.

No it is an Eclipse hood that has everything built in. I thought about the Aquapod but since I have the stand and the tank has been set up for over 4 years I would just change the lights and filers out. Just something easy for me to care for.

I thought about a HOB like the Penguin BIO-Wheel Power Filters 100 says it does 100GPH, that should be fine right?
