:help: All of you were so helpfull with my tomato clown and by the way, is doing great. Now I have another problem. I have a friend that has asked me to help him with his sick clownfish. It is a mated pair of false perc. and one of them became VERY fat a week ago. We have been watching it and its just getting fatter. It wont eat and it swims like its a weebelwobble. What could be wrong with it and what could we do to cure it?

Could you perhaps get a picture of the clown? Are his scales raised at all?

there are no raised scails, no white spots, no black spots, no white tuffs, nothing at all. Shes just very fat and breathing hard. She has been in a hospital tank for 2 1/2 weeks now and was treated with bacterial infection meds and also with something to kill external bugs and stuff like that. We gave her a wormer also. We did a large water change yesterday and that seemed to perk her up a little bit. Now shes swimming around a little bit where before the water change, she was staying near the bottom of the tank under a plastic cave that was set in the tank for hiding. I hope this helps.

Sounds like it may be an internal infection. If there is a well cycled QT available, you can move the fish to the QT and treat with Maracyn Two for SW fish.
