Need help/suggestions for kind of new 29 gallon

Hi Everybody,
Its been forever since I posted here. I recently moved and had to take down my 90 gallon reef and squish what I wanted to keep into a 29 gallon set up. I used sand and rock from the 90 and put it in the 29, and kept my clown, lawnmower blenny, brittle star, and some crabs and snails. I have no corals now. :( (Everything else that was in the 90 went to a new/good home.) I have a standard light fixture on the 29 right now and I want to upgrade the lighting so I can keep whatever corals I want. Right now I am using an Emporer 400 HOB and a powerhead for circulation, but I will probably be changing those up to a sump once I am done getting settled. So, here are my questions:
What lights should I upgrade to? I cant hang anything (no pendants) and I dont have a canopy (yet).
What other livestock should I do? I really want a Royal Gramma next, but then do you think that would be it or could I get more stuff?
Any and all help is always welcome. Thanks!

sounds like you have a good start, what kind of clown is it? and a royal gramma would be fine as long as the clown isnt like a maroon that is going to show aggression. what kind of corals are you wanting to get? the corals will decide what lights to get. i would think that those 3 fish would probably be all you want to get but i could be wrong maybe one more small fish would be fine. i would suggest T5HO lighting tho because they will keep low light corals and just about everything else but maybe clams depending on how much wattage you get.

Thanks!
I would really like to have LPS corals like Gonopiora (sp?) and Elegance. We had upgraded to metal hallides in the 90 and everything was doing really good. I was wondering if T5HOs would work for the 29?

Is this a regular glass 29? If so that is awesome, it is a great size tank. I have a 29 AGA.
I have 2 Nova Extreme 2x24w T5HO. I keep SPS and have seen great growth. There are a lot more color options with T5, you can really customize it to your tastes.
My tank is also drilled with a sump, but I wish I had left it alone for simplicity sake. There are a ton of options now to keep a tank without a sump. But if you want a sump It is nice to have all the equipment hidden.
Check out my thread for some ideas, you can pm me if you need some help too.

That is exactly what I have. It was cheaper to buy two of those than to buy one 4 bulb fixture for some reason.
This is what I have x 2:
