My skimmer is currently running in the section of my sump where the water also is pumped back into the tank.. It dawned on me a while ago that it isn't doing a crap load of good skimming AFTER the water has already been through carbon filter media, and bio balls,, so i want to attach it so that it gets water directly from the tank, or at least so that it can actually do it's job, but not cause a flood if power goes out, any ideas?? Note- it's a berlin skimmer, and it's an under tank sump. Shanks!!
