Need help with filtration ideas

hi, this is my first try at a smaller size tank. it's a 33 gal oceanic cube. i've done the bigger tanks but nothing this small. space under the cabinet is very limited. just wondering what ideas people are using. for filtration. my thoughts were this.
i have a good amount of rock roughly 1.5 to 2 lbs pr gal. a decent depth sand bed. aqua c hang on skimmer, and was thinking of adding a hang on back refugium. would that be enough filtration. i also have a few powerful powerheads. like i said i'm not new to saltwater. i'm just new with nanos and limited space. my other setups i had sumps. but space also wasn't an issue then. basically i'm just wondering if the live rock a decent amount of sand, good flow, a skimmer, and refugium are going to be enough filtration. i appreciate any help that can be offered.

You probably have more experience than I do with SW, so take this for what it is worth...
Many of the REALLY nice nano tanks I see on here are not running a skimmer and don't have a fuge. So since you WILL have both, and you have powerful powerheads, I can't see how this wouldn't be sufficient.
I would love to watch you assemble this thing so if you plan on taking pics of the process I will surely follow along. I have never put a salt tank together from scratch, and my next tank will be between 30-55 gallons, so it would be very valuable to follow along with you.
Good luck.
BTW - Does this tank have an overflow? Or are you putting the skimmer in the fuge? Or in the display?? And how do you plan on plumbing it, and finally, how are you going to light the fuge if it is hanging on the display?

it's a aqua c remora hang on the back skimmer with a preskimmer box, also i was looking at the 13" cpr fuge with the lighting that they have for the unit. just want to make sure it's going to be enough. and no it doesn't have an overflow. if i did i would make a sump under the tank for it. my other idea was to use my 12 gal nano cube that i never used and place that under the stand and set it up as a fuge and maybe just get a over flow box and a small pump to pump it back to the tank. some one with smaller tanks please fill me in on ur setups. please!!!!
hehe

hey there, I have my 37 gal, See pictures below. Its been up and running for almost two yrs. the only filter i have in it is a small canister and a couple of powerheads. I would like to add a remora, but need to save up. Its been running great without one, but I think it would be better with one.
your filteration sounds fine. I run carbon, renew and filter floss in the canister.

i do have an extra rena filter laying around that i could probably throw on there with some filter floss as well to help with things abit and just change the pads regularly and that way i can run the carbon as well. i see that u have used the hang on fuges on other tanks. how did u like it?

I used one on my old 55 gl tank. I loved it. It was alway full of pods. now the 55 gal is the fuge for my 150.
