Need help with live rock

I have a few questions about some live rock I got this weekend.
My brother is taking down is well established 75g reef. He brought roughly 40-50 lbs of rock and some of it was still in water and some was in a foam container covered with wet newspapers. A few pieces were kept seperate because they have mushrooms on them. None of the rock dried out. Well, since it was going to be 4 days until the rock got to my tank I made and brought some saltwater and put it in a cooler with a powerhead. I guess the powerhead was too large and put out a lot of heat. The water got pretty warm if not hot. I was wondering if I need to cure the rock again? I went ahead and scrubed the rock thinking it may have some die off due to the temp change. Oh yeah, it did have a slight odor to it.
So my questions are.......
1 - Do I need to cure the rock again?
2 - Did I kill all the growth on the rock?
3 - If needed to be cured again, do I do water changes every 2-3 days?
4 - Can I add all the rock at once or a few pieces a day when ready?
Thanks for the help. I should be getting about 50 more pounds soon. Free fiji live rock - whooo-hooo!!!!!

If it smells bad I would cure it again.
Do not do water changes every few days as that will wash the rock, but not cure it.
Scrubbing the rock will take of the dead stuff, but you will not kill all of the beneficial bacteria and growth by scrubbing only if you let it completely dry out will it all die.
Once it is fully cured you can put it all in your tank at once.

Just keep testing the water every few days. When you see the amonia is 0 you should be good to go. Think it generally takes a few weeks. As far as the light...depends on what you are going for. If you want coraline or funky stuff to grow on it you may need better lighting, but if you just have it for filtration it really does not matter what kind of light if any at all is on it.
