need help with my first nano

ok i have a 65 gallon tank and every thing is great but im moving to a different room in my house and i dont want to move the tank to much work involved. so i want to make a 20l tank cuz i already have lighting for a 36inch tank. but what to do for filtration on a tank this small.?

LR and a DSB is all you need . . . you know enough about the rest of reefkeeing to handle it . . . .

should i do a hang on skimmer of some type i dont want to plumb a sump due to the fact theres no room for one really

I run the bak pak 2R . . . works great for a tank this size.

a 20 long is not 36 inches but a 30 long is. hth. cpr is a good skimmer for that setup. no skimmer means more water changes for sure. no problem.

yea i think i may just do a 40 gallon breeder

a 40 long would make a very nice lagoonal/grass bed tank.
