need help with refugium

I have a 4ft 55g tank and i want a refugium, what size should i get/make

you could use a 30gal long or if you really wan to get wild you could do like I did with my 55gal and tie a 10 gal and a 20 gal together the 10 was a fuge and the 20 was a 3 chamber sump. I have pics if you would like to see them
