Need ID... Angelfish or Damsel?

I was given three fish by a friend who was tearing down his tank. He told me that they were Damsels (2 definitly are 3 stripe damsels) but I am starting to wonder about the third one.
I have been unable to find a picture of this fish anywhere so far and it does not behave like any damsel I have ever seen but does appear to have some anglefish traits.
1st - it appears to be VERY territorial and has marked out a specific spot in the tank, it defends it with unusual vigor, against every fish in the tank (2 damsels, snowflake eel, and 2 yellow tangs)
2nd - it's digging a hole to china! I have a 4-5" bed of Aragamx Sea Floor grade substrate and it has dug out almost a quarter of the substrate underneath the rocks. It backs up to the sand and flips it's tale to create a small blast of water to push out the sand.
3rd - in addition to flipping sand with it's tail I have actually seen it several times pick up small gravel with it's mouth to move the gravel out of the "burrow". It picks up a small rock with its mouth, goes out to the center of the tank and drops it.
Can anyone ID this little monster?

thanks for the ID. I couldn't find any pictures on any of the major online fish resellers but with the latin name Pomacentrus chrysurus I was able to find comparisons. A whitetail damsel is deffinitly it.
thanks

it is not a damsel, or a chrysurs angelfish. It is a old woman angelfish(poma)
It is most certainly not an old woman angel. Neither adult or juvenile look anything like this. It's a damsel. Additionally, the old woman angel is rhomboides, and not poma.

ok...im sorry if i gave you wrong info but im certain now that it is a holacanthus limbaughi aka clipperton angelfish

I'm still disagreeing with you. Here is a pic of a juvi Clipperton. No resemblance. There is no eye spot on the tail and the angel has a distinctively different body shape.

it is not a damsel for sure you can tell by the shape....its got to be an angelfish but the only angel that looks similar to that one is the clipperton angel..who knows it could be a hybrid of some sort...i saw some weird hybrids in the past like a french and queen hybrid.Who knows, only way to be 100% was if we had more pics.
