i dont think it is a sundial. Atleast i hope it isnt because i have tons of them in my tank. I believe that they are mini turbos snails.

i agree its def. not a sundial, they are black and white, and have like a cone shaped thing at the end of there shell

They are algae eaters
Small right? And kind of pink and white swirly shell? Comes out at night?
