Need ID

I need help ID'ing this clear/whiteish stuff on my GSP. They are really soft and break apart when I tries to pluck it off the GSP. It doesn't move, at least I don't think they move. I stared at them for 5 minutes without seeing any movement.
Here are 2 pictures, these were taken once the lights were turned on. I am not sure if everything has opened up or not. I am not home right now.

Clearly harmless right? All my coral are being bombarded by sponges. They all have pineapple sponges all over them. Can I get rid of them? Should I just leave it? The gsp opened up fine yesterday.

I had that ALL over one of my GSP. They continued to open up around it. When it got to be big bunches, I just pulled it off when the GSP was closed up. It never got out of control and was easy to remove.
At the stage it's at, it would be hard to remove... but it comes off in big pieces as it grows.
