anyone ever keep one of these? all i was able to find out is that they are non photosynthetic, so i know i will have to spot feed them daily. anyone have any tips on caring for them.
Most gorgonains like moderate to heavy flow and low to medium light. I have an orange one and a red one. the orange one is doing well near the top of the tank, but the red one didn't like it there. it is in the sand now, doing fine. I feed mine DT's every other day. The orange on that I have has grown noticeably in the 3 months I have had it.
thanks reef fool,
i have a purple ribbon gorgonian that is doing fine. i was unable to find any info on this blue polyped kind and was just wondering if they require any more care than a normal gorgonian. heres a pic
Looks cool! I lent out my ID books but I don't think I have seen one of those before. I would start it out with good flow and low light and feed it when the polyps are open w/ a baster.
first i need to keep it alive before i frag it. i cant find info anywhere. all i know is that its non photosynthetic , so i need to feed it. im sure it will like high water flow like other gorgs do. anyone kinow the scientific name?
