Need input on finished build *video*

I have a 55 gallon tank that has been cycling for about 4 days now.
I'm cuncerned that my skimmer is not setup properly as it has not produced ang gunk or foam.
Please let me know any suggestions you guys have for me on my setup.

Hi, and welcome to the site.
You won't need a skimmer for months even after you add critters. 4 days is way too new, there are no organics to even pull out of the tank yet. So just empty it, and leave it alone for now and don't bother to run it.
If the skimmer pump runs it works....how well it works can't be determined until later on.

If you really want to see it run, dump some phytoplankton in the water. Other then that, you will have to wait until your tank builds up some organics for it to remove.
Also, protein skimmers take anywhere from 1 day to 3 weeks to "break in".
