I need to put together a business proposal for the monthly maintenance cost of a 55 gallon salt water aquarium.
My plan for the tank is a simple set up. Pair of clowns, a few low light corals.
I have all the equipment, LS, LR, etc.
The light I'd be using is my old coralife fixture. I have a canister filter, etc.
Monthly expensives:
food $_____?
salt $_____?
water chemicals $_____?
electricity $_____?
filtration matter $_____?

I think this is a business proposal to a spouse?
Am I correct?
I had to do something of the sort.
Food $10/mnth
Salt $10/mnth
Water Chemicals $20-$30 per mnth depending on Chemicals and type of tank
Electricity $20-$40/mnth
Filtration $10/mnth (MAX)

Nope~ I've been job hunting. A new store just opened up, family owned. I talked to one of the owners, Peggy. I went back to the house to get a resume for her and on the way back I was thinking of our conversation and her concerns if the business would be successful.
Customer service and management is what I went to college for.
A new business needs something extra to draw customer's interest, something that makes that store memorable....hmmmm........Like a SALTWATER TANK
and it just so happens that there is a pet food store 3 stores down

So when I returned with my resume I told her my sales pitch regarding the tank. Peggy thought it was great! I had suggested that I would work there part time, which would include maintaining the tank. She wanted to discuss it with her husband, and I'd make proposal for the tank set up and maintenance.
