Is anyone looking to sell a used Halide lighting system. I need one bad but am on a very tight budget. Thanks

Why buy used,when you can buy brand new as cheap as this.Try looking at http://www.aquaticlight.com./ They have the cheapest MH retro kits I have seen.These are the ones that I have on my tank(175 watt)and love them.I got the bulb upgrade,and the reflectors....The company is very easy to deal with,and my shipment arrived within a couple days...

These do seem like good prices compared to many sites i have seen. Did you all buy the reflector? If so did you build your own hood around it? Is there enough room in the reflector to place flo. bulbs?

The reflector is only made for the MH.Not enough room for anything else,unless you want it to cook.And YES,A good size canopy style hood is needed.
