Need MAJOR feeding help

I recently got a puffer and a lion fish. They had been at the pet store for 3 months where they were feed live fish. I know this is horrible for them and they need to go on other food. I have purchased a feeding stick to try to help. I have tried scallops, sand eels, clams, crab legs, mussels and silverslides. HELP - they will not touch any of it. Will they eat when they are hungry or will they starve themselves?

give it time they will eat.. if not then you can order ghost shrimp and gutload them with your frozen food to get a feeding response.. tro tricking them and dangling the food on a piece of string to make it look "alive" therees alot of diff. methods. just use the search button and youll find ALOT of ways on how to feed them

Well for the heck of it tonight - I threw in some Emerald Entree...the Puffer gobbled it up - Lion just looked at it. Guess he will eat when he is hungry. Can these guys live on Emerald Entree, Marine Quizine, and Frozen Krill or do they need more?

you want a large variety of foods so theyd ont get boered and most imortantly so it mimics what they eat n the wild and get all kinds of different nutrients from different foods
