I currently have a Magnum 350 Canister on my 20 gallon long tank. I know that may be overkill but it was all I had when my original filter system went out. I dont have much live rock, 10-20lbs max. The magnum I have is probably close to 10 years old and is a real hassle to clean and deal with. Its difficult to get everything lined up correctly once it has water in it and almost impossible to get the air out of it once its all back together. I do like the canister system as i can hide it in the stand underneath the tank.
Any suggestions as to what a good replacement might be?
