I have a 55gl FOWL tank that I run W/O a sump. I need a new skimmer hat must be a hang-on-back style. I have used the large skilter filter that worked well but was LOUD and broke twice in less than a year. Also I use a Prism Deluxe (not Pro) on my 29gl FOWL and realy do not care for it, too touchy and not very effective. I also have a Fission Nano on my 10gl reef and its pretty much just a micro bubble factory (all over in the tank that is).
I was looking at the new Fission H.O.B. models or else a Typhoon model but would realy like some input please. I need to stay around $150.00 or less so expensive exotics are out.
