need opinions with 55G

hello room, this is my first thread.i have a 75g with baby red lion, snowflake,niger,yellow tang,clarki. I have an extra tank 55G im not sure what to use it for,fresh, salt or QT tank? I use a 10g to QT new fish now.The tank is goin in bedroom or diningroom and i didnt want to spend all the money in equipment as my 75g. If any of you are runnin a couple of tanks or could give me some ideas id apperciate it. P.S. thanks to this site i read alot of your posts on equipment and i went and bought a coral life super skimmer and it exceeded my expectations thanks for the info

55 would make a nice seahorse tank. from what i have read, they dont requir as much equipment as a reef. reg lights, low flow.

I have 2 55gals. One is my reef tank, the other is freshwater for my discus! If you've ever wanted something in freshwater with color and size, try discus. Low light needs, no powerheads, etc. Just be prepared to do alot of water changes. Discus need really excellent water quality. I do a 40% change twice a week.

Thats alot of work, I miss freshwater. Im thinking of getting a freshwater 150 gallon and get couple of arowanas.

the fresh water 55 would be nice and easy- u could go with a few angels or discus and some live plants
