I recently got my digital camera working with computer and have suddenly become addicted to this new part of the hobby.
First off I know that I need to get something better than my 2.1 megapixel (or maybe it's 1.2) Sony. I hope to get one of those nice cannon G whatevers in the next few months.
Other than that what can I do to get a better picture?
My main problem right now seems to be color. The flash makes everything look too unnatural and no flash doesn't show close to what I see. I tried setting the camera to "low" flash level but that makes no difference really.
Do you turn off all other lights in the room when photographing the tank?
My tank lighting is just 260w PC. 2x 65w acintic and 2x 10000k or whatever (the white ones). The lighting is a month old. Would I be getting better pictures under MH?
The other problem I have is that some of my corals seem to "blend in" too much with the rock. I guess there isn't much I can do about that though.
Thanks for you time.
