need rockwork advice.... pictures included

this is my current rockwork... to me it's pretty typical of reef tanks with a big build up in the middle and swimming room all around (no rocks touch the back glass)... i know i know, i need to put my black backing back up...
in your opinion do you think my rocks look good or would you suggest a change to something else? like a more open rockscape with more open space in the middle?
i was thinking of making a sort of U shape with rocks and the open part of the U facing the front....
my second option was to build towards a corner so the peek would be in one corner and the rocks would V down towards the glass from teh corner... make sense???

I dont know about you, but I really like how it is. But if you decide to change it, then I would do 2 piles.

oh god rock work i have to smack myself to stop rearranging mine, eveytime i look at it i want to change something...personally i dont think you'll ever be totally satisfied...just do what best for the type of fish and coral you have
by the way i think it looks good now

I think it looks really good the way it is. You have a lot of things in there that just carry the eye along nicely. I wouldn't change it unless it's really niggling at you.

I might be the only one, but I got tired of jacking with my black backgrounds, so now I just paint the backs black. Easier.

i too am going to paint the back when i have time...
sheesh, now i dont know what to do with the rocks.... maybe i'll keep them, maybe not.. i guess it depends on how bored i get with no football.

yea rocks look real good I wouldn't touch em... your football season was over a LONG time ago hahahah

I like it...but if you were to change it.....build up one side without touching the glass and then run the other side low to the other side of the glass and also push it out to the front while doing it. Thats my next rockwork. You asked.......

I like realy like all the shelfs you have. It makes everything "fit". Deffinatly better than mine considering I have none!
