I an upgrading from a 29 FOWLR to a 55 FOWLR. I have a added the Argonite, and it now has about 8 inches of water in it but it is so cloudy I don't think I should try and add any more water until it settles. My intent is to add 10lbs live sand and then live rock from the other tank as well as all or most of the old tank water so I don't really have to cycle the tank. Should I just let it settle or proceed?

I don't see any reason to stop. Cloudy water when filling a tank is not uncommon. The sooner you get it filled, the sooner it will settle.
I almost forgot... Welcome to the board!!!

Would it be alright to add the fish and inverts as well. Fish:Hawkfish, yellow wrasse, cinnamon clown and strawberry Psuedo. Also Snails and hermits?

You should not have any problems adding the fish as soon as the water clears.I don't think I would do it untill then though. If you are using all the substrate and rock and filters from the old setup you should not have a recycle,so they should be fine.GOOD LUCK...
