Need Some Help Fast

My 125 gallon tank all of a sudden now looks like the water is greenish yellow. I have never had this happen. I cleaned all the brown algea and have done a water change. Nitrate and Nitrite levels seem to be ok. Fish are fine and mushrooms and zoos ar ok as well. It looks like a dirty pond.

Sounds like an algae bloom. Reduce lighting, water changes, filter floss changes often. Do you have any macro algae in the tank or sump? If so do you know what kind? Some species will go s e x u a l and could cause what you are seeing.

I have two sumps and I have some red kelp. Lights are on for 10 hours. did you say reduce water change?

you could change the carbon or if your not using any at the moment, add carbon to ur filter for afew days.

Sorry I reread my answer and I can see where you would get reduce water changes.

I meant reduce lighting, do water changes and change filter floss (pads) often. Run carbon is a good idea too.
