I have some green star polyps and xenias in my tank and a whole lot of Mojanos . I'm planning to get a raccoon butterfly to get rid of them. Will the raccoon eat my green star polyps and xenias?

Butterflies are always a risk. As a general rule, if it eats the majanos, it will also eat polyps when it comes to them. For the record, they usually don't eat the majanos, especially if they're larger anemones.
How big is your tank? I'd recommend manually eradicating as many as possible (via Joe's Juice, Aiptasia-X, Lemon Juice, Boiling water) before you purchase a fish just for that purpose, especially since it's not a guarantee.

Yea I took your advice and went the other route. took me 2 hours to poke and kill most of the majanos i could see. will the dead majonos or their mucus create a spike in my tank? I tried taking most out but those that i couldn't remove from the rock i had to smash em in to kill them =)

Poking and killing them that way was a mistake. When stressed, they send out spores and also every piece of the critter becomes a new critter. Joes juice or the like is a food you squirt into the mouth of it, it can't send out spores, it shrivels up and dies so no little chunks are floating around to make new ones.

+1 ... I didn't say, poke and kill them. I told you to eradicate them manually and listed choices you could go with.
Although Majano's tend to not send out as many spores as say, Aiptaisia, they still do. You'll probably see most the Majano anemones that you poked pop back up in a day or two, it usually doesn't kill them. You need to inject them with one of the things I listed above.
