Need some ideas with canopy and lighting.

What are some different ways everyone has there lights connected to the canopy? I have a 175 watt MH and 2X55 watt PC. I plan on leaving a 1 inch gap between the top and the reflector. I am worried about just using screws, because of the conduction of heat. Do you think I'm just being paraniod? T4AH.

You might consider mounting the socket/reflectors to wood brace, and suspend this brace within the canopy.
