i am about to set up an aggressive saltwater tank, and i was wondering if i could put any type of shark in a 50g tank, if not what aggressive fish should i put in it. i was thinking of a lion a trigger, and maybe a eel(any suggestions on the eel too). also, i was wondering what type of filter i should buy for the tank.
thanks for your time

no shark in a 50g. most get big and fast. triggers also get big but a small one can for a while. a dwarf lion and a zebra or snowflake eels would be perfect..

I have a small 50g with a fuzzy dwarf lion, a chain link and a dragon wrasses... No problems at all and I've even started moving corals that outgrow the reef tank into it.
Just make sure you keep up with maintain in such a small tank or you will have problems

thanks for the advice. what is the smallest tank to get if i wanted to get a shark, and do have any suggestions on what kind of live rock to get, and is a hunu trigger to big for the tank. what if i got a 60 or 70g tank would that be big enough. what filter do suggest to get. how much rock should i put in the tank for a fish only tank.

For a shark... even the smallest one's I don't think I would go smaller then a 200. The idea of I'll get a bigger tank later is aways nice but most of the time doesn't work.
The amount of rock will depend on what is in the tank... Figure out what you want in the tank before you decided on the amount and placement of the rock.
