Need some skimmer assistance!

I am in the market for a skimmer and really don't know much at all about them. I have a 90gal FOWLR and a 30gal refugium. I am looking at buying the Eshopps PSK-200. Does this just go in one of the compartments of the refugium? (That is what I am hoping) The reason I ask this is because there is really no room in the compartment where the refugium is to put it on the outside of it. And my lid on tank won't allow a HOB? I was told I needed one because of my bioload. Or if anyone knows of another skimmer around this price range that is as good or better.

If you dont think you have room in your sump you can get an external skimmer. I have read that the external works better! Also you will never put a skimmer in your refugium. The best way to help would be post everything about your tank. Rock, sand, fish and size ect. If it has to be insump what foot print is allowed. Still alot of answers before suggestion and options can be offered.
