Are you going with a reef tank or just a fish only? I have a 75g F/O without a skimmer and all the fishes are fine. Live rocks will help out with the filtration.

The lights in your hood now would be suffecient for a FOWLR(fish only with live rock). Thats all I have, and my coraline does pretty well. If you eventually want corals you will have to upgrade your lighting though. I would also suggest some LS(live sand), it works much better than CC(crushed coral) and requires less maintenance. The abbreviations can be hard to decipher the first few weeks.

my suggestion would be to get rid of the fluvals and go with a DSB, some LR and a good skimmer. the reason for dumping the fluvals is they can cause high nitrates. i cant recommend a good one since i use a POS seaclone :D .( but it works for me )

Berlin turbocharge is a super skimmer. Don't know why someone has recommended against it. Even for FO's a skimmer is recommended.

Welcome to the Board!
I have a 135 reef, i love my berlin. If you are new to salt water try a fish only. Not saying you caould not do it, but fish are much easier if you are new. Salt and fresh are completely different worlds so you need to get used to some of the new ideas. Ofcourse you may be perfect at such things. I wish i was. reefs for large tanks like the one you have are REALLY expensive. just to tell you upfornt.
