I need some advice on the next fish I should buy. What would you suggest for a fish only tank, 44g, with two Blue Damsels, two Percula Clowns, a Bi-Color Blennie and four Mexican turbo snails. The water conditions are excellent.
As a side note how many fish would you say this tank could hold? Or am I already pushing it with what I have. (in case you can't tell I'm very new at this)
Thanks!

well, you already heve quite a few fish for a 44 gallon, sorry to say, but the limits are pretty close, if not already there
the general rule of thumb is a one inch per 5 gallons of water, and
blue damsels get to be 3 inches (each)
perculas get 4 inches
and your blenny could get to be 4 inches
that gives you 18 inches of fish
the snails don't factor in to the equation
and yes this is just a general rule, sometimes you can exceed these limits a bit, if you have a really good bio filter, but i still would not go beyond 1 inch per 3 gallons under any circumstances(some have gone beyond that), but i wouldn't, and yes your water quality is a very good indicator, but at this point, unless your fisha re already full grown, and your tank has been running stable for several months(with those fish) , you can't judge by that very well
HTH and good luck

Although you are pretty close to the limit of fish there are alot of cool animals you can add to your tank that really make the hobbie intersting.
try adding some bumble bee snails and margarita snails
Add a pin cushion urchin or two
a true tank should never be without a handful of hermit crabs and 1 or two emerald crabs.
Add some hardy low light corals that require little maintenance are always nice to have.
Oh - yeah and a few feather dusters are brighten things up as well.
Heck after you add some of these things you probably will realize the fish are not the center piece of your tank anymore.

The problem with low light corals is that they need more supplemental feeding since they don't aquire much nutrition from zooxanthellae! ;)

you could always add cleaner or blood fire shrimp. both are cool and would add a lot of color to the tank and help against ick also
