Need sump help

i have a mag 9.5 in my 20gal long sump/fuge i wanted to know if it is possible to run this for my return with no prob i have a 55gal tank. (or should i get a mag 12) also my overflow box is i think 1000gph

I'm pretty sure that you can put a ball valve on the drain line to control the overflow. this will cut down on the gph you're moving through your sump but it will allow you to use the pump you have.

thanks thats what i did i got a ball valve for that im just waiting for mu overflow to come in today once in i will play with it. i also ordered some rock from liverocks dot com they have the best rock u will ever see check them out
