As far as I know it is great for killing flatworms but I would only use it as a coral dip type thing. If you are planning on treating your tank with it I wouldnt use it. All flatworm exit does is kill flatworms and when flatworms die they release toxins into the water. Will all those flatworms dieing at once all those toxins could do some serious damage. If you were planning on treating your tank with it I would suggest just trying to get rid of the flatworms manually by siphoning them out. Takes longer but its a lot safer.

if you only have a few I wouldnt bother with the flatworm exit. just siphon them out with some airline tubing. keep doing that whenever you see them and cut down on feeding. should make them go away.

Markeo,
Yesterday I treated my entire tank w/Flatworm exit. The resuts were just fine. Follow the directions, be sure to have your activated carbon on hand and a enough water for a major water change. Salifert recommends 25%; I did a 50% change. Run your skimmer throughout the process.
Of course, none of the tank inhabitants were happy!! The corals shut down big time!! The fish were agitated, the hermit crabs and snails also shut down. I did not lose any corals nor any fish. My cleaner and harlequin shrimps are doing well. No sign of any flatworms.
I do agree with the earlier posts. Siphon out those you see. I would not use the treatment unless/until they get out of control. Unfortunately, for every one you see there is at least 30 you dont.
For what its worth,
Rick
