Based off prior feedback, it appears the water level in my sump is about 2" to 3" to high for my MSX skimmer to function properly. I really do not want to lower the water level since my return pump is already setup for that water level. The only other option would be to built some type of shelf that sits about 2" tall and then I can place the skimmer on it. Anyone have any ideas on the best and some what simple way to build this? Maybe use some PVC as legs and a piece of acrylic for the shelf? Also, what type of adhesive would be best? THanks!

use eggcrate so there is water flow underneath the skimmer just so theres no trapped water. make like a box/rectangle with one side missing w/ the eggcrate and that will be the bottom.

Are there any potential issues with using zip-ties to hold the pieces of eggcrate together? I cant think of any issues but just wanted to double check. Thaks for the idea!! Simple and quick, I like it!
