Once upon a time I had a pH of 8.2
I have had a couple of crashes in the last couple of weeks. I have troubleshot this (with help from the friendly people on this board) to be 1) added to much Ca to my water...but the second time I added nothing. So I am wondering if that was caused by changing my carbon filtration (but I have never heard of such in all my years).
Either way my Xenia has been p#$%Ed each time.
I am using Kent Marine - superbuffer dKH
my Alk level is around 5 meq/L, but it has left my pH at 8.0 With my Alk that high is it pretty mych locked where it is?
Suggestions? Will the Xenia be ok at that level (assuming it doesnt crash to 7.8 again?)
