Need to replace external blast

One of my external blast blew out and now I need to replace it and I would like to know can I use any MH blast as long as it's Watts

Yes. As long as the type and wattage match, you can use any one.
I assume you are planning to open the metal can the ballast is enclosed in and replace the actual guts, not the entire ballast can itself... ??
If so, just get the ANSI code off the existing ballast core (should start with an M), and match that code to your replacement ballast.

Hey SCSInet,
I am going to have to replace the whole thing, currently I just have the stock blast which cae with my lighting system. See picture below.
This external blast blew-out and needs replacing

Just make sure when you get a replacement ballast that the connector that the light itself connects to the ballast with matches.

That's the biggest delima but I believe that I may have to do some rewier if the cords don't match, it's hard to tell if they are the exact same cords when you are looking at a picture over the INTERNET.
