Need your suggestions!

Hey everyone,
My name is Grace. I am very new to this awesome hobby. My brother, parents and a few friends of mine are really into their tanks. I have always loved looking at their tank and decided to get my own.
My brother who has a 225g, brought me 20 gallons of his cycled water to put in my 72 gallon bow front tank. I have an emperor 400 filter, pc lights, a full bottom of live sand, 30lbs of live rock.
I wanted a eel, but was shot down on the aggressive fish thread. I think I only want one very cool, aggressive fish to start my tank. In the future, I want a bigger tank, better and more fish, and the full setup.
If you had to choose a cool, fun to watch aggressive fish, what would you suggest?
Thanks to everyone in advance, and I am happy to be on the site!!!

Why not an eel? A snowflake eel would be fine.
Anyways, triggers are awesome to watch swim.
Pinkface Wrasse (Thalassoma quinquevittatum) are one of my favorite fish, they're so colorful, but I can't have one in my reef.
How about anglers? They're hard to care for, but every time I'm in my LFS there is always someone who looks at the anglers and goes "WOW, what kind of fish is that? It's so cool."
Hawkfish have crazy personalities, especially the flame hawk.
Good luck starting your tank. You're going to love it.

I have a lionfish that came with my tank. hes pretty messy, but hes very pretty to watch swim and its really fun come feeding time. Also my LFS told me that if i wanted I could put a snowflake eel in with him as long as it was good sized so he couldnt eat it.
Heres a link to my fish I jsut shot it with a regular camer so it's not a very good picture.

I think my wife is really loving the idea of no eel, but a cool fish. So I guess I have changed my mind. If I was going with a trigger, any suggestions? I like the undulated or clown from what I have seen.
Is there anything I should know about them in particular? I love reading and learning so if you have any sources, I would be all over it.
Thanks again to everyone, this site is awesome...

If your tank were bigger, I would suggest a porcupine puffer...talk about personality. My LFS had one that would spit water at you if you didn't pay attention to it, wanting you to actually pet it and/or feed it.

My brother said that... he also suggested Lion & trigger, or Trigger & puffer, or all three.. what is the best combination? Can I do all three?

there must be 2 Mrs. Peters' then...this one is only 30, she teaches at the _______ Head Early Childhood Center.
The lion, although venomous, will get picked on by the trigger and puffer (they will nip at the spines, which is generally bad news for the lion). In a 72, you are kind of in the "in-between zone" when it comes to saltwater. You could create a great community tank, however most of the more aggressive fish will get rather large and outgrow that tank. There are a few smaller species of puffers (valentine, blue spot) that remain smaller...but most puffers and triggers will grow to be a foot or more long. There are species of dwarf lions that remain smaller, but from what I have heard about lions is that they are not all that entertaining to watch...kind of lazy.
In your tank, however, you could get away with a VERY nice assortment of community fish...if that is an avenue that you are willing to consider (dwarf angel, clowns, firefish, mandarin (later), a butterfly (assuming you stay away from coral), lots of different inverts, etc...).

The only problem with your tank (if it is the standard 48"x18"x22" 72 gallon bowfront) is that most triggers grow to a foot or more in length (the smallest that I have seen is the HumuHumu/Picasso...in my limited research on triggers). There are some smaller species of puffers, but I am not sure that they would last with a trigger (the porcupine and the dogface puffer varieties reach a foot or more in length).
If you had any intention to upgrade later, the male bluethroat/bluejaw trigger is a BEAUTIFUL fish...have wanted one since the first time I saw one!
